The Henoko Fund, which was set up to try to prevent construction of a new U.S. airfield in Henoko, Nago on April 9, has raised 46,291,683 yen in one week. The Governments of Japan and the United States plan to move U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Futenma in Ginowan to the facility.
