Scientific discovery on crown-of-thorns starfish communication could alleviate coral damage

Recently the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) Graduate University and an Australian research team sequenced the genomes of crown-of-thorns starfish (COTS) that live in Okinawa and the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
