Taragara Awamori brewery wins grand gold awards of Monde Selection

Taragawa Co., Ltd, an awamori brewery located in Miyako-jima, has won the grand gold awards for its products such as Ryukyu Dynasty Specially selected Old Awamori and Long maturity aged old Awamori Kuon in the Monde Selection of the International Food and Beverage exhibition 2013. Ryukyu Dynasty with 30 percent alcohol has won the award for five consecutive years and Kuon with 35 percent alcohol for four consecutive years.
After again winning the awards, Hideyuki Sunagawa, the managing director of the company, “We want to encourage our customers to enjoy higher-grade awamori.”
