Japan wins the Men’s Team Kata at the Karate World Championships

Ryo Kiyuna, Arata Kinjo, and Takuya Uemura from Ryueiryu-Ryuhoukai defeated France 5-0 in the championship round of the team Kata to win the first gold medal for Japan since two competitions ago on October 30, the final day of the Karate World Championships held in Linz, Australia. The previous day, Kiyuna also took the gold for the individual Kata, defeating the Spanish representative 5-0 for his second straight championship, taking home two titles in total....
